I live in Colorado, but I currently support CTG clients in Alaska as a full-time remote employee. I start my mornings at 8:00 a.m. MST (6:00 a.m. Alaska time). I spend eight hours a day logged into Microsoft Teams to interact with my team via video and screen share. My first tasks of the day are usually planning in nature. I log into all of my client sites, process emails, and review my planned activities for the day.
I work full time on a business intelligence project for the Integrity Management Department of a large oil and gas company. I work directly with the client to analyze their business needs, provide business intelligence reporting and quality, reliable data, and serve as a change agent.
On a typical evening, I like to spend time enjoying the Rocky Mountain views and relaxing with friends and family. I work for CTG because I truly believe reliability matters. I love that we strive to help people work smarter, not harder. At CTG, we solve problems that clients did not even know they had. In terms of career advice, I believe that successful consultants embrace change and stay relevant.
