BUFFALO, N.Y., November 25, 2024—CTG, a Cegeka Group company (the "Company") and a leader in digital transformation and IT solutions, announced today the appointment of Chad Alessi as Managing Director of Cybersecurity. Bringing decades of experience in technology, cybersecurity, and operational strategy across enterprise and mid-market sectors, Alessi will accelerate the Company’s strategy to meet the evolving cybersecurity needs of clients in the U.S.
Alessi will focus on scaling CTG’s local resources and adapting Cegeka’s proven global cybersecurity offerings to help U.S. clients navigate today’s increasingly challenging security landscape, especially in highly regulated industries.
“Chad’s deep understanding of both the IT and OT cybersecurity landscape and proven ability to deliver results for clients in highly regulated, critical infrastructure sectors make Chad the ideal leader to spearhead CTG’s next chapter of cybersecurity solutions growth,” said Tom Niehaus, Executive Vice President of CTG. “He will play a pivotal role in helping our clients strengthen their defenses and increase organizational resilience, as well as oversee the rapid expansion plans for growing our local cybersecurity support and capabilities.”
In his new role, Alessi will be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of CTG’s U.S. cybersecurity business, aligning it with Cegeka’s global practices to deliver consistent, high-quality service and support. He will focus on overseeing programs that support CTG clients through their cybersecurity transformation process, from implementation to 24x7 management and security infrastructure monitoring. Alessi brings experience working on cybersecurity-related services for the energy, healthcare, manufacturing, and warehouse and logistics industries.

Previously, Alessi served as Technology and Cybersecurity Solution Director for CTG’s U.S. Energy practice, where he led the implementation of comprehensive cybersecurity measures. His experience also includes senior roles at Gannett Fleming, where he oversaw cybersecurity initiatives, and Capgemini, where he led Intelligent Operations Transformation for North America.

Alessi holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Alabama, as well as an MBA and a Master of Information Systems with Advanced Studies in Information Security from the University of Alabama and Syracuse University, respectively.
A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, he also serves on the board of several non-profit organizations, dedicating his efforts to community impact and mentorship.
